Our Approach
We understand that planning a wedding is costly, so investing in quality vendors is a must. With that in mind we approach every wedding and event with a perfect balance of creativity and intentional planning. Our process is designed to create purposefully planned and expertly executed weddings and events. Collaborating with our clients and their vendors we take into consideration all areas of the day to bring our clients dream day to fruition.

Madisyn, founded Pampas & Poppy Event Co., in 2019 is a passionate and dedicated professional who has seamlessly transformed her love for weddings and design into a thriving career. With a keen eye for detail and a heart full of creativity, Madisyn has spent years honing her craft, with a great balance of professionalism and relatability. Her journey began with an apprenticeship under great event planners, where she absorbed invaluable lessons in aesthetic balance, project management, and so much more. As Creative Director and Director of Planning and Execution, Madisyn is the driving force behind Pampas & Poppy Event Co. and oversees all areas of the business.
Driven by a deep desire to serve her clients, Madisyn places their happiness and vision at the forefront of every decision. Her approach is distinctly collaborative, working closely with couples to ensure their personalities and stories are embedded in every element of their wedding day. This client-centric philosophy has earned her a reputation for not only creating visually stunning events but also meaningful experiences that resonate deeply with each couple.
Off duty, Madisyn is a wife, mother of two, and all about family. She loves all things florals, cooking, the shore, and sunshine.

With a Communications degree from Rowan University, I’m focused on my dual roles as a Assistant Planner and managing our social media presence. Based in the New York area, I’m committed to bringing creativity and efficiency to our team.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending concerts or shows, hosting dinner parties, and binge-watching my favorite TV shows. I’m excited to contribute to our team’s success and look forward to what’s ahead!

Madisyn Smith
Carly began in the event industry in 2018 where she worked at an events venue right out of college. Not knowing what she wanted to do, she grew to love the industry and became a certified wedding planner. She began her journey at Pampas and Poppy in 2020 as an assistant to Madisyn. She was able to learn more about the industry and find her love for wedding planning in a new way!
In Carly's free time, you will most likely find her on the beach with her husband, Vince, teaching dance at the studio she grew up at, or spending time her family and friends at home.
